Stuck somewhere? We've written these guides the way we'd explain to a friend — step by step, no jargon. Profiles, resumes, applying on phone or web, WhatsApp HR, and what Premium actually does.

How to Create Your JAD Profile (2 minutes)

  1. Hit Register on the homepage — or open the JAD app if you're on your phone.
  2. Pick Job Seeker, then add your name, mobile number, and email. Use the number HR can actually reach you on.
  3. Enter the OTP you receive and set a password you'll remember.
  4. Fill in basics: your city, how much experience you have, what kind of role you want (sales, service, workshop, etc.).
  5. That's it — you can browse jobs right away. Resume upload comes later, but it helps when you apply.

How to Upload Your Resume

  1. Log in, then open Resume Profile from the menu (on mobile it's under My Activity).
  2. Tap Upload Resume and choose a PDF or Word file — one resume per profile keeps things simple.
  3. Add skills, education, and past jobs if you have them. Even short entries help employers understand you.
  4. Good news: once uploaded, your resume goes automatically every time you hit Apply Now — no re-attaching.
  5. Changed jobs or fixed a typo? Update anytime. Employers always see your latest version.

Applying on the Mobile App

  1. Get the JAD app from Google Play — there's a link on our homepage.
  2. Use the search bar to filter by city, brand, or role. Save your location so you see nearby jobs first.
  3. Tap any job card to read salary, requirements, and company details properly — worth 30 seconds.
  4. Tap Apply Now when you're ready. If you're browsing as a guest, we'll ask you to log in only at this step.
  5. Every application lands in My Activity — check there for status updates instead of wondering if it went through.

Applying on the Website

  1. Search by city (Pune, Mumbai, Delhi…), brand (Maruti, Hyundai…), or role (sales executive, technician…).
  2. Open a listing and read the full description — especially experience and salary before you apply.
  3. Click Apply Now. Your profile and resume go to the employer through JAD.
  4. Head to My Activity to see what you've applied for, any HR replies, and pending calls.
  5. Honestly? Apply to several matching roles. Most successful candidates don't stop at one application.

How WhatsApp HR Works

  1. Apply on JAD first — employers expect your details on record before you message them.
  2. WhatsApp contact unlocks with a Premium contact plan (optional, not required to get hired).
  3. After Premium is active, tap WhatsApp HR on the job page or in My Activity.
  4. A polite intro message opens ready to send — mention you applied on JAD, your name, and that you're interested in next steps.
  5. No reply in 2–3 days? One short follow-up is fine. Keep it professional, not pushy.

Free vs Premium — Plain English

  1. Free gets you everything essential: browse jobs, create profile, upload resume, apply unlimited times, track in My Activity.
  2. Premium adds shortcuts: message HR on WhatsApp directly, boost your profile so employers see you higher, priority visibility.
  3. We'll be straight with you — Premium doesn't guarantee a job. It helps you communicate faster on roles you really want.
  4. Plans are on the Pricing page. Pay via UPI, Paytm, or PhonePe — whatever's easiest.
  5. Our team verifies payment and activates your plan, usually within a few hours. You'll get confirmation when it's live.

Getting Your Profile Noticed

  1. Fill out your profile completely — empty fields make you look less serious than you are.
  2. Upload a clean, readable resume (PDF is best). No fancy graphics needed; clarity wins.
  3. Profile Boost or Spotlight plans from Pricing push you higher in employer searches for 7–30 days.
  4. Combine the boost with applying to active jobs in your target city — passive profiles rarely get calls alone.
  5. When an employer reaches out, reply quickly. Speed signals interest.

Turning On Job Alerts

  1. Run a search the way you'd actually job hunt — right city, role, maybe salary range.
  2. Tap Save Search & Get Alerts (you'll need to be logged in).
  3. We'll ping you on WhatsApp or email when new matching jobs go live — handy so you don't refresh the site all day.
  4. Too many alerts? Manage or delete saved searches from My Activity anytime.

Common Questions

Is applying for automobile jobs on JAD really free?

Yes — 100% free for job seekers. You can browse every listing, create your profile, upload your resume, and apply to as many jobs as you want without paying anything. Premium is only if you want extras like direct WhatsApp access to HR. Most people start free and that works perfectly fine.

Which companies actually hire through JAD?

We work with 500+ verified dealerships and workshops — Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Mahindra, Toyota, Honda, Kia, BMW, Hero, Bajaj, and plenty of independent multi-brand outlets. If it's a real automobile employer in India, there's a good chance they're already here or joining soon.

How do I apply for a dealership job? I've never done this before.

Don't worry — it's simpler than you think. Register (takes 2 minutes), upload your resume, find a job that matches your city and experience, and tap Apply Now. You can see every application in My Activity so nothing gets lost. If you're stuck, our Help Center walks you through each step.

How does Apply via WhatsApp work?

First apply on JAD so the employer has your details on record. If you have a Premium plan, you'll see a WhatsApp HR button — tap it, a polite intro message opens ready to send. Introduce yourself briefly, mention you applied on JAD, and ask about next steps. Most HR folks appreciate a friendly, direct message.

What is Premium — and do I need it?

Premium is optional. Free users apply and get hired all the time. Premium helps when you want to message HR on WhatsApp directly, boost your profile so employers notice you first, or move faster on competitive roles. Think of it as a shortcut, not a requirement.

How do I upload my resume?

Log in → open Resume Profile (or My Activity on mobile) → Upload Resume → pick your PDF or Word file. One resume per profile keeps things clean. Every time you hit Apply, that resume goes automatically — no need to attach again and again.

What does "verified dealership" mean on JAD?

It means we checked the employer before listing them — real company name, working phone number, genuine hiring need. We remove expired jobs and suspicious posts. You won't waste time on fake "₹1 lakh salary" bait listings that lead nowhere.

How long until I hear back after applying?

Usually 3–10 working days, sometimes faster during busy hiring seasons. If it's been two weeks, apply to a few similar roles in the same city, tidy up your resume, and turn on job alerts. Persistence helps — most successful candidates apply to 5–10 matching jobs, not just one.

Can I apply to many jobs at the same time?

Absolutely — we encourage it. Each application is tracked separately in My Activity. Just make sure you're genuinely interested in the role; employers can tell when someone applied randomly.

I applied but got no reply. What should I do?

It happens, and it's not always about you. The role may have been filled, or HR is slow. Try similar openings nearby, refresh your resume headline, and use Premium WhatsApp if you can. A polite follow-up after a week is fine — keep it short and professional.

What kind of jobs can I find here?

Pretty much everything in a dealership ecosystem: sales executives, service advisors, technicians, workshop managers, CRM staff, parts counters, finance (loan/insurance) desks, drivers, delivery coordinators, and showroom hosts. New cars, used cars, two-wheelers — all covered.

How do I keep my profile updated?

Anytime you log in, head to Resume Profile and edit skills, experience, or swap your resume file. An updated profile — especially with your latest mobile number and city — makes a real difference when employers shortlist candidates.
